About

The Coal House Cafe is run to support the work of London Wildlife Trust in their nature reserve at Woodberry Wetlands. It sits within an urban wildlife reserve yet feels as if it is in the middle of the countryside. The Cafe serves fantastic breakfasts & brunches with British Red Lion free-range eggs, locally sourced bacon & Cumberland sausages from Baldwins Butchers + great vegetarian & vegan options. Avocado on Sourdough Toast is the most popular dish! Liberty's Ethiopian single estate coffee, Birchall's teas & a delicious vegan hot chocolate make it a great destination for a hot drink & home made cakes. Open daily from 9am till 4pm. All profits are donated to London Wildlife Trust to support their conservation work in 35 London reserves, enabling the public to visit all of their sites FREE OF CHARGE. Events are run in the evenings to raise more funds for the charity check their website @ Woodberry wetlands org uk /events. N.B. only guide dogs are allowed in their nature reserves.
