In a quintessentially traditional corner of London, we introduce one of the area's greatest pubs, by restoring many of the building's most striking features and subtly inviting in some modern elements. We boast a strong wine list that holds the utmost regard for both Old and New World producers. We use several local brewer's as well as some more traditional and well established. Our Head Chef - James Howarth - has perfected the balance between traditional pub food and going the extra mile for our dining room upstairs, with a weekly changing and seasonal menu. Our staff embrace traditional service standards with a relaxed and modern attitude. In short, we showcase the most delicious dishes Britain has to offer, an eclectic range of wonderful wines from lesser-known vineyards, beautifully brewed ales from names that you'll know, and a remarkable range of spirits and soft drinks. We are professional - yet in no way stuffy, friendly - but never forceful, knowledgeable - without being a know it all, self assured - without an attitude and comfortable with our identity - but never boring.
