Inspired by world travels and the memories collected from them, Chef Roaya Saleh opened the first Villa Mamas in Bahrain as an extension of her own kitchen. In September of 2017, we opened in London to share the warmth of Khaleeji food and hospitality with an international audience. At VML, you'll taste traditional Bahraini and Gulf dishes with a twist. We like to think of ourselves as a Middle Eastern style, Mediterranean, Persian and Fusion cuisine. From starters like creamy, smooth Hummus, mains like our fan favourite Tahcheen or Mozat Laham to our Saffron Rice dessert and more, you'll be sure to fall in with the flavours of Villa Mamas. Should you fancy a cup of specialty herbal tea, a delicious latte or a cup of Turkish Coffee, we've got you covered. IMPORTANT: due to the size of our small restaurant, in order to maintain a tranquil ambience at all times, we regret to inform you that we cannot welcome persons under the age of 12.
