Owned by Ashford Borough council, managed by Kent Wildlife Trust, Hothfield Heathlands is Kent's best example of acid bog and heathland. It contains a range of heathland specialists including keeled skimmer dragonfly, round leaved sundew, bog asphodel and heath-spotted orchid.The site is open to visitors 365 days a year.
