Welcome to the page of St. Mary the Virgin, Bury, commonly known as Bury Parish Church. We welcome everyone to visit us, no matter what religion you do or don't follow! We are a Church of England parish, steeped in tradition. There has been a church on this site for over a thousand years and we now have this magnificent Grade I listed building in the centre of Bury. We welcome everyone that wants to visit our church, whether for religious reasons, or to explore its history, architecture, its links with The Lancashire Fusiliers, to seek refreshment in The House On The Rock coffee shop, or browse in its book and gift shop area. The church and House on the Rock are open for visitors on daily, except Tuesdays. Friday Lunchtime Concerts are held on Fridays at 12.30pm from September to July. Sunday services at 8.00am, 10.00am and 6.30pm
