The course at Mellor Golf Club measures 5,837 yards, par 70 from the gold tees, and is a mixture of moorland and parkland golf, set out in 3 different loops of 6, with tricky holes and narrow fairways. It is a fair and enjoyable test of golf for any level of golfer. Boasting one the highest par 3s in Cheshire, our stunning views can give you a panoramic view of 5 counties. Mellor and its golf club are steeped in history, and whilst often referred to as one of Cheshire’s ‘Hidden Gems of Golf’, this is a course that should never be hidden from golfers. In 1745 John Wesley, the famous methodist minister, stood on what is now the 10th fairway and described the view that stretched before him as “Paradise”.
