The Dancehouse Theatre is housed in a 1930s Art Deco complex situated in the heart of Manchester on Oxford Road. It's characterful interior and unconventional approach to creative output makes it a must-visit venue in the city. Since opening in 1994, The Dancehouse Theatre has been a home for a vast range of arts in Manchester. As well as playing host to many high calibre international acts, the theatre takes great pride in working with local artists and promoters as a vibrant cultural pulse point for the city. With one of the largest and best stages to perform on in the city, alongside a 420 seated capacity venue with a great view from every seat with a sloped auditorium, the Dancehouse Theatre has one of the most vibrant atmospheres that you will experience in Manchester. Alongside the theatre, we also provide high end mirrored studio space for a multitude of evening and weekend dance classes for children and adults.
