The Pen & Pencil is a buzzing Northern Quarter bar and restaurant that welcomes guests seven days a week, opening at 10 am and staying lively until early morning. The menu offers a range of dishes from a £10 Brunch & Lunch Menu to hearty dinner options, complemented by a selection of beers, wines, spirits and custom cocktails. In addition to satisfying food and drinks, the venue serves as an entertainment hub – live DJs host nights on Fridays and Saturdays, there’s a weekly Quiz Night, and special events such as a bottom‑less brunch that gives three hours of unlimited food and drink for £50. The staff also provide private hire packages for up to 70 guests or larger events of 200, as well as gift vouchers that can be redeemed on any menu item.
