The White House
About
The White House Pub & Restaurant is a historic coaching inn dating back to 1671, perched 1,300 feet high on Blackstone Edge in Littleborough. With panoramic views of the Pennine hills, Hollingworth Lake and the surrounding moors, it offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The menu blends classic pub favourites with fine real ales, seasonal guest beers, and a selection of fine wines from around the world, served in two daily windows: lunch (12–2 pm) and dinner (5:30–8:30 pm) from Monday to Saturday, and a generous Sunday lunch (12–8 pm). The pub also celebrates special events throughout the year, such as the holiday Christmas menu, and welcomes private parties and children up to 9 pm. Dogs are not permitted inside, but guide dogs are accepted.
