We are located on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border, in an area of outstanding beauty with beautiful countryside, wonderful walks and a pretty village. There are many footpaths, bridleways and mountain biking routes from the village including a route up to an ancient hillfort at Fosbury. The pub is at the heart of the Vernham Dean community, and we proved this by winning the Fullers Hampshire Village Pub of the year in 2012 - "the pub is the hub" award, combined with Vernham Dean winning best Village in Hampshire award. We often have 'event' days for occasions such as the Jubilee, Royal Wedding and bank holidays normally feature a band playing. We have an exciting beer festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend, which is always well attended by the locals and new customers alike!
