Welcome to BattleKart Gateshead, Newcastle’s best augmented reality go-karting experience! Our venue combines the thrill of electric karting with immersive video game-style racing, creating an unforgettable adventure for both adults and children. At BattleKart Gateshead, we’ve taken traditional indoor go-karting to the next level. Instead of a static track, our karts race on a fully interactive digital circuit, projected onto the floor with real-time augmented reality effects. Players can collect power-ups, deploy weapons, and battle it out in different game modes, making every race unique! Located just opposite the Metrocentre, BattleKart Gateshead is easy to reach by public transport, car, or bike. We are only a 10 minute drive from Newcastle city centre, 25 minutes from Durham, and 25 minutes from Sunderland. We are a 10 minute drive from Newcastle International Airport. We have 76 free on-site parking spaces.
