Castleneuk Guest House has recently been awarded a 4* Guest House status by Visit England, and is situated on the A68 in the village of Castleside, on the eastern edge of the North Pennines AONB and on the border between Co Durham and Northumberland. The historic cities of Newcastle and Durham are approximately 30 minutes drive away, together with Hadrian's Wall and many historic sites and properties including Beamish Museum, Raby Castle and Gibside. There are 4 ensuite bedrooms available as well as a guest lounge, dining room with views over open countryside, drying room (just in case!), secure storage area for bicycles and parking (both on street and limited off street). Evening meals are available every day and packed lunches can also be provided. Castleneuk is also dog friendly (up to a maximum of 2 dogs per room at no extra cost) - please tell us at the time of booking/enquiring so that we can allocate rooms as appropriate.
