The Tyne Bar has been a mainstay of the Newcastle pub scene since November 1994, when it helped to kickstart the cultural renaissance of the city's Ouseburn Valley. Building on the legacy of pubs like The Barley Mow and The Egypt Cottage, on nearby City Road, the pub boasts free live music events, craft beers, artisan coffee, food promos, a free jukebox and the legendary beer garden beneath the bridge.
