One of the former byres of Borrowmoss Farm has been carefully converted to provide three lovely single-storey self catering holiday cottages. They can be booked individually or as a whole to accommodate larger groups (maximum 12 people). The enclosed garden provides a safe place for children to play. Location: Situated in a quiet rural location, yet only 1 mile from Wigtown, Scotland's National Book Town, in the heart of the natural beauty of Wigtownshire, Borrowmoss offers an ideal base for your holiday in South West Scotland. Pet Friendly Self Catering - The Cottages: Each of the 3 self-catering cottages accommodates 4 people in 2 twin bedrooms. Being on a single level, all cottages are easily accessible by the less able. All the cottages are non-smoking. Pet Friendly: In Teal and Greylag, we accept well-behaved dogs. Wigeon has been refurnished to a high standard and regrettably pets are not accepted. Full sized, insulated Kennels and Dog Runs are provided free of charge. Outdoor Activities: Hill Walking, Bird Watching, Cycling, Fishing, Golf, Star gazing, Horse Riding, and more are all available within a short distance of the cottages.
