Recharge your batteries in our 280 year old home on Offas Dyke between Powys Castle [N.T.] and historic unspoilt Montgomery. The old house has an inglenook with log fire in the oak-beamed sitting room and uninterrupted views to Welsh and Shropshire hills. Heath Cottage is a working smallholding with ewes, lambs, free-range hens and ducks. We have been welcoming visitors to our home since 1981 whether they be walking Offas Dyke, exploring Mid Wales or breaking their journey on the way to the coast or Snowdonia. Guests tell us they sleep very well, have never tasted such eggs (free-range hen or duck!), marmalade to die for and the best homemade red currant juice they have had in their lives.
