Quintessential village pub and restaurant nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, overlooking the expansive green in stunning Aldborough. Newly renamed as The Cricketers (May 2023) we have been forced by Tripadvisor to open a new page. Since November 2022 the new owners have made significant changes. Moreover, our excellent chefs are delighting guests from near and far with a menu created from local, fresh ingredients, they refuse to work with frozen or processed. Local is our yardstick, fresh our watchword. A warm welcome is always guaranteed, and you'll always find any number of locals at the bar happy to chat and swap a tale or two. In the summer months, you'll be delighted to find Aldborough Cricket Club playing on The Green. Described this weekend by a friend as "the most typically English scene ever" and to be honest he was right. Our outside bar will soon be open along with the very best in BBQ. We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Cricketers.
