The Pleasaunce is a Grade II* listed mansion, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens for Lord and Lady Battersea, and built Situated on the North Norfolk coast, The Pleasaunce is a beautiful Grade II listed home. Originally built for Lord and Lady Battersea,between 1888 and 1902. Frequent visitors included Queen Alexandra, her sister the Empress of Russia and Princess Louise. it stands in 6 acres of spacious grounds, offering play areas for children and gardens in which to stroll or just sit and enjoy the surroundings. The house is situated 100 yards from the cliffs which overlook a sandy beach. The Pleasaunce is a perfect base for holidaymakers, conferences, groups, weekend/mid-week breaks, school parties and retreats. The Pleasaunce can accommodate up to 80 guests. There is also a self catering bungalow in the grounds which can accommodate 4 people
