The tea room’s unique location is the perfect spot for a walk along the along the canal followed by a cup of tea and a slice of cake, a pitstop on a scenic cycle ride or a home-cooked lunch and a browse in the upstairs charity shop. We have a fantastic playground for our younger visitors, and the tea room itself is on a single level so is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. We welcome muddy walkers, tired cyclists and hungry families looking for al fresco play time to tire the kids. Our menu has a nice range of hot and cold drinks, including great coffee and a selection of teas. Scones are freshly baked on the premises each day, and we’ll always have delicious cake to tempt you… If you’re in a rush, why not grab a coffee to take away? Our lunch menu offers sandwiches, toasties, bacon and sausage cobs, jacket potatoes and soup. Vegetarian/vegan options and gluten-free cakes are often available.
