Empress Of India is located in Asfordby a small village close to Melton Mowbray, the restaurant first opened its doors 1st March 2010 from then till now the restaurant has grown strength to strength, having the local support from Asfordby and the local surrounding villages and Melton Mowbray. Our customers come from far and wide and appreciate the true essence, flavour and service we have to offer, after having a big refurb in 2015the decor has changed from being a contemporary restaurant to a more glamorous modern/vintage look, there are private booths and semi round booths for parties up to 6, we cater for couples looking for a romantic evening, families spending time together or big parties wanting to celebrate we cater for all. Our menu has been designed by our head chef and team, we have the classic Curries, the mild dishes the popular veg sides and we have “ the chefs finest” a section dedicated to true authentic Indian food all the dishes our full of authentic flavours.
