This traditional English house offers it all – 18th century charm, quirky features and modern facilities. We offer short term stays in Single or Double rooms with shared bathroom. If you’re a foreigner – you’ll instantly be immersed into the true English surrounding and get a realistic truthful feeling about English home and lifestyle. If you’re local – you’ll feel right at home just like you’re at your mom’s house. There is also a nice backyard (called garden in UK) for you to enjoy rare sunny day :) Owners are a couple in their mid–50th. They bought and renovated the house to high modern specification while keeping many old features in place, very proud of what the house looks and feels like presently, and invite you to visit this beautiful home. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay – all modern features and conveniences are in place, while old fashioned elements are still present for decorative purposes. Owners reside at the property in one of rooms. Location and neighbourhood simply can’t be more perfect. House located right in between city centre and airport, making it easily accessible and convenient. Few blocks away is bus stop with direct access to Derby city (6–10 min ride) and East Midlands airport (25–30 min ride). Train station is also easily accessible – direct bus will take you there in less than 10 min. There is an absolutely amazing Alvaston park nearby with beautiful lake, and all the usual birds and nature – excellent place to relax and rejuvenate.
