A beautiful place to stay in the Cotswolds with 4 fantastic pubs within 10 minutes walk of the house. Giles Coren described one of the pubs as serving "the best pie and pint of your life." There are a huge number of stunning country walks direct from the front door. It is a large, spacious Scandinavian made eco house. Solar panels. Triple insulated. Air filtration. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, washing machine, 74 Mbps internet, 55 inch tv, large private garden and summer house. Wheelchair friendly with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. Blackout curtains/shades throughout. Bedroom 1 - queen Bedroom 2 - can be a superking or twin Bedroom 3 - can be a superking or twin Bedroom 4 - 2 singles Lots of parking, easy for driving, direct trains from Charlbury to London and Oxford. The Charlbury train station is an 8 minute walk from the house. Direct buses to Oxford, Woodstock and Chipping Norton from the end of the drive. Garden is dog and child secure. Blenheim Palace - 15 minute drive Soho Farmhouse - 14 minute drive The Bull pub - 3 minute walk The Bell pub (Daylesford) - 3 minute walk A big effort has been made to make the house environmentally friendly. Including high quality, low VOC paint used throughout, upcycled and handmade furniture, art from local galleries and sustainable toiletries. As shown in the photos there is a long private drive with space for ~6 cars. There is also free parking on almost all the lanes nearby. 2 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor so it's great for guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. Dinosaur sheets available on request for kids! For laptop work, there is an electric sit/stand desk, a swiss ball to sit on and a 28 inch monitor you can use. I leave a lockbox with the key for you so you have flexibility when you want to arrive. I'm often flexible with check-in and check-out times.
