We are a small and friendly independent coffee shop and village store. Located on the edge of the beautiful Berkshire downs, we are close to the Uffington White Horse and famous Ridgeway so are popular with walkers and cyclists alike. We serve locally roasted coffee, cake and pastries seven days a week. Most weekdays we serve a simple lunch menu, (except in August) usually including a homemade soup, salad and tart. We also serve the wonderful Pippins doughnuts on Fridays and Saturdays. Lynwoods sourdough bread is available on Thursdays and we have a wide range of other locally sourced produce including fabulous cheese, jams, chutneys, eggs, honey, beer and wine ! Childrey Stores also has a range of carefully sourced gifts and homeware. We have a fabulous selection of cards, locally made pottery even wrapping paper.
