Step off the street and into a story in our friendly story cafe, with courtyard seating offering a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. While away a pleasant hour in our cafe with a range of freshly-prepared food to suit all appetites and browse our quirky shop for story-inspired gifts galore for ages 0-99. And while our Museum exhibitions and installations are closed for an exciting new redevelopment we’ve got lots of FREE drop-in story fun happening in the cafe with Story Bites every Wednesday and Thursday from 10.30-11.30. Our cafe serves a full menu of tempting dishes, including scrumptious soups and sandwiches, scintillating salads and a children’s menu. We have a wide range of gluten-free and vegan options and our soup is always diary and gluten free. With hot and cold drinks and a mouth-watering array of freshly-baked cakes and biscuits, we’ve got plenty for very hungry caterpillars and any tigers who’d like to come to tea!
