Donkey Rescue Centre. Situated at Sleagill We are open Monday to Friday 10.00am until 12.00pm Please ring 07484165935 We are not a tourist centre or petting farm, we are a working rescue, the public are welcome to come along and meet the donkeys, visitors are allowed in the stable yard and be with the the donkeys, and see just how gentle and forgiven these lovely animals are. It is free to come along, please ring before coming out just in case there has been an emergency which needs vets and or farrier here. We look forward to seeing you Can visitors please park on the roadside verge, there is plenty of wide verges which are gravelled to pull off the road onto. We are only two and a half miles from the A6 Shap, from Penrith take A6 Shap after approx eight miles turn left sign posted Sleagill, stay on this road for 2.5 miles, there are four houses on the right we are the last property From Shap A6 to Penrith, 1 mile turn right Sleagill DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV Thank you
