Moomaid of Zennor
About
Moomaid of Zennor is a family‑run Cornish ice cream business that turns fresh dairy from its own farm into indulgent creams and sorbets. Nestled on Tremedda Farm between the cliffs of Zennor Hill and the Atlantic, the farm has passed through four generations of the same family and remains a bastion of sustainable, heritage‑driven farming. The brand prides itself on using 100 % Cornish milk, Rodda’s clotted cream, and no artificial colours or flavours, creating classic favourites such as Vanilla Bean, Cornish Clotted Cream and Belgian Chocolate, along with adventurous new creations like Shipwreck, Mojito and Dulce de Leche Caramel. Visitors can enjoy the ice cream at either of the two main parlours in St Ives and Porthtowan, or at the pop‑up “Moomaid in the Field” overlooking the farm. With its relaxed, family‑friendly ambience, vegetarian and gluten‑free options, and a commitment to sustainability, the café is a must‑visit for food lovers, coffee and dessert enthusiasts, and locals alike.
