Tanglewood Wild Garden
About
Tanglewood Wild Garden is a 9‑acre natural woodland and pond estate in Cornwall, renowned for its rustic charm and wildlife diversity. The garden offers a tranquil woodland experience with clear walking paths, four picturesque ponds, and a range of native plants and trees. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls, relax with a picnic on scenic benches, and observe the daily activity of birds, frogs, dragonflies, and other woodland creatures. Families are especially welcome, with a rope swing and safe play areas for children, while dogs are allowed on leads. Entry is by a small admission fee – £6 for adults and £3 for children aged 5‑15, with free crossing for kids under five. Opening hours run from open days between the Easter holidays and 30 September, 10 am to 5:30 pm with the last entry at 4 pm each day, except Wednesdays when the garden is closed. Access to the garden is via steep, uneven paths, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users, so wheelchair‑access requests should be made in advance via phone or email.
