The Edgcumbe Arms is situated on the Mount Edgcumbe Estate & Country Park in the village of Cremyll on the banks of the River Tamar, with fabulous views to Drakes Island and Plymouth Sound. A proper Cornish warm welcome awaits. This large and comfortable 18th-century inn is easily reached by the foot ferry from Plymouth. The wood-panelled, low-ceilinged interior has a slate-flagged bar with a wooden floor in the restaurant area, and several snugs for cosier drinking. Outside tables by the river bank afford superb views across the River Tamar. Daytime buses from here run to Torpoint and Plymouth via Cawsand and Millbrook.
