The distillery’s signature spirit, Mermaid Gin, delivers a smooth yet complex blend of fresh organic lemon zest and peppery grains of paradise, with a hint of sea air from locally foraged, fragrant rock samphire. This coastal botanical, wild-foraged from the island’s cliffs, is known locally as ‘mermaid’s kiss’. A Certified B Corporation, the distillery proactively strives to protect the environment, presenting Mermaid plastic-free and supporting seagrass meadow restoration projects locally and overseas. Ingredients are ethically sourced or wild-foraged, with the Mermaid and HMS Navy Strength ranges inspired by the ocean and island’s natural elements.
