West Dean village shop and cafe is open 7 days a week. The shop stocks newspapers, cigarettes, alcohol and local fresh produce, as well as full range of sundries and basic essentials. Our aim is to provide a convenient variety of essentials and locally produced fresh produce for our shop customers. The West Dean Shop also has a cosy team room complete with open fire and outdoor seating for sunny days. We are conveniently located just off the Monarch's Way footpath and the Centurions Way cycle path and our tea room is a perfect refreshment stop for walkers, cyclists and anybody out exploring the South Downs. We offer delicious freshly ground coffee and tea served in pots covered with quirky hand knitted tea cosies. We serve cream teas, a range of hot and cold snacks including bacon or O'Hagans sausage floured baps, assorted sandwiches and a range of scrummy fresh cakes and pastries.
