The Pembroke Arms in Wilton is an 18th Century inn and sits prominently opposite Wilton House. Originally used as overflow accommodation for the guests of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke, and later as an Officers’ Mess, the pub is now a buzzy and vibrant place. The pub is the perfect pit stop if you’re visiting one of the many local sites, but with nine eclectic bedrooms, each giving a nod to the pub’s heritage, you could make the trip just to put your feet up, enjoy the atmosphere, and roll to bed after one too many downstairs.
