Each week the pub hosts quiz nights, pizza evenings and a variety of community events, keeping the Old Stag lively from 6 pm to 11 pm on Thursday, 5 pm to 11 pm on Friday, 2 pm to 11 pm on Saturday and 12 pm to 6 pm on Sunday.
