Weston Park Museum is a free‑entry treasure trove in the heart of Sheffield, celebrating the city’s history, art, and natural heritage. Open from Tuesday–Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm (closed Mondays), the museum offers a constantly changing programme of exhibitions, specialty galleries and interactive displays for visitors of all ages. Highlights include the Ancient Egypt Gallery with its collection of artifacts and mummies, the Picturing Sheffield Gallery showcasing local art and industrial scenes, and the Beneath Your Feet Gallery exploring Sheffield’s wildlife and environments. Families and school groups will delight in the life‑size Spike the Woolly Rhino and Snowy the Polar Bear exhibits, while history enthusiasts can explore the city’s past in the Sheffield Stories and Sheffield Life & Times galleries. A café, Ambulo, provides a cosy spot for a coffee break. The museum promotes free entry with a suggested £5 donation to support its programmes and collections.
