Myself Dave, and my wife Andrea would like to offer you a very warm welcome to the Brackenhurst Guest House, which we became the new owners of in September 2019. Since the beginning we've now spent over 10 months carrying out much needed refurbishment works, and improvements to address the main issues we'd researched from previous owner reviews, as well as improving the overall standard of facilities and accommodation. Each room is now individually decorated, and except for a few items we've restored, almost all of the furniture has been replaced to improve space, storage, and provide a more comfortable, homely experience. We now have a selection of room types available, all en-suite, and including LCD Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, shaver point, and hairdryer, with an iron & ironing board also available upon request. We've also added a guest garden area with plenty of seating in which to relax, and of course we're ideally located for all that the Skegness coastal resort has to offer, which really does have something for everyone. Away from the hustle and bustle, we're in the quieter South Parade area of the town, which is only around a 10 minute walk away from the wonderful sandy beaches, lovely garden areas, a host of attractions, the famous Clock Tower, main shopping area, cafes, bars and restaurants, and just beyond the Pleasure Beach, is the Skegness pier. Around 4 miles away is the Gibraltar Point nature reserve, which makes an ideal destination for walkers, or a short drive away, and you could explore the Lincolnshire Wolds. We have limited free parking available on a first come, first served basis, and both the Skegness bus and train stations are less than 1km away for those using public transport.
