One of the UK's very few restaurants to have all dishes cooked by woodfire, The Wellhouse is an exciting new restaurant offering unique food, drink and social experience, celebrating the simplicity of woodfired ovens and smokers. Sat inside the historic rustic-luxe surroundings, you'll be able to see, smell and taste the delights of woodfired cooking and for those special occasions, you can enjoy private dining in the idyllic outside setting of the vast kitchen garden. With Phil Yeomans at the helm, taking inspiration from the hotel’s impressive kitchen garden as well as the exceptional and artisanal produce found in the county including meat, fish, dairy, wines and spirits, notably from River Test Chalkstream. Combining kitchen innovation, tradition with a twist, with fun, casual and personalised hospitality, welcoming hotel guests and the local community.
