Nestling in the heart of the Dengie Peninsula of South East Essex, a warm welcome always awaits you from all of us here as well as from the locals and regulars. For at least 180 years the Red Lion Inn has been offering a warm welcome to travellers, visitors and locals alike. We have a large garden to relax in where the children are more than welcome. There is a large play area for them of which on most sunny days also includes a bouncy castle, and there is seating for around 100 people so you should be able to sit down, soak up the sun and enjoy a cold drink! Great food, excellent beers and wines as well as regular events and entertainment; there is regular Live Music, Disco, Karaoke Night, Pub Quiz and various other events So why not come and visit, and enjoy everything our beautiful country village pub has to offer
