Riverside Country Park is a sprawling coastal haven nestled along the River Medway in Kent. Covering roughly 100 hectares of mudflats, salt marshes, reed beds, ponds and grassland, the park offers a sanctuary for a wide variety of wildlife while inviting visitors to explore its scenic walking routes and visitor facilities. The park’s visitor centre, café and toilets make it easy to spend a leisurely day discovering the area’s natural beauty. From the RSPB‑designated Motney Hill reserve to the tranquil Berengrave Local Nature Reserve, each corner of the park boasts spectacular birdwatching opportunities and tranquil spots for picnics or peaceful walks.
