Tucked away at the end of Burnham-on-Crouch High Street, Silver Road Caravan Park stands in a privileged location. Having recently had a make over, the site is idyllic. It has lovely clean, fairly modern toilet and shower facilities including disabled facilities. This incredibly quiet site has 60 large, level, grass pitches compromising of 50 residential pitches and 10 touring pitches, each pitch has an electric hook-up. Just outside the gates of the site is the Victoria Inn pub which serves good food and beer and is just one of the small town's many pubs, and eating establishments. There is an Italian restaurant Bellas 100 yds up the High Street with The Ship Inn a further 100 yds, along with many more restaurants and cafes. The River Crouch waterfront is a short walk from Silver Road Caravan Park and hosts 3 pubs and 4 yacht clubs, there are long secluded walks both East down river and West up river. If you are looking for something different to do without spending a fortune there are plenty of places along the waterfront where you can take the kids crabbing, the town also has 3 different parks one being down by the Dengie 100 Sports centre, Millfields. There is also a soft play centre for the younger children 'Let's go bonkers' situated by Burnham on Crouch train station, the town has a Railway museum and also the Burnham on Crouch District museum. Also if you get a chance whilst in Burnham then we have a lovely quaint old style cinema, recently having undergone a mini makeover and had all new seating fitted as well as sofas along the back. Prices between £3-4 per ticket for an adult and child you cannot go wrong! Please note that the owner does like you to buy sweets/popcorn/drinks in the cinema however which are fairly priced as well.
