The Stapleford Miniature Railway

We are a historic volunteer preserved and operated private Miniature railway running around the scenic estate of Stapleford Park in East Leics. The railway was first constructed in 1958 and was restored after closure in the 80s opening in 1995. We usually open twice per year as part of combined steam rallies Second weekend in June and the three day August BH weekend The railway is world famous and features a fleet of scale 10 ¼” gauge steam locos including two replica North American engines and various British and an East African and often also has visiting locos.
