The Green Man Gallery closed permanently on 22nd December 2024. It was a vibrant, independent gallery and arts centre, managed and run by artists. A popular creative hub for Buxton, the gallery hosted ever-changing exhibitions of contemporary art and craft by its Resident Artists and guests from across the region. Paintings, photography, printmaking, mixed media, textiles, jewellery and ceramics plus hundreds of prints, unique gifts and cards at affordable prices. The Green Man also ran an exciting programme of workshops, classes, live performances and other arts events and offered spaces for hire.
