The large carved wooden bear at the front of the pub was provided by Church House regulars for the residents of Buglawton and is permanent reminder that many years the people of Congleton used the money they had saved for a Town Bible to buy a bear for the town fair. We are a community pub with a large beer gardenIn the winter we have log fires and in the Summer an attractive garden which catches the sun from early afternoon and into the evening.
