One of Cheshire's Gardens of Distinction. The 28 acre arboretum is situated in the village of Swettenham, holds 800 species of plants, trees and flora and was the lifelong project of Sir Bernard Lovell, founder of Jodrell Bank. Open year round from dawn to dusk, £2.50 per person. Dogs welcome on leads.
