A traditional pub, just off the Hartshill Road between Stoke On Trent and Newcastle Under Lyme, catering to both locals and visitors to the area. The current operators provide a warm welcome to old and new faces and have been repairing and updating the previously tired looking premises. Large lounge bar with feature floor and disabled access. Cosy public bar with pool table and open fire in winter. Large beer garden - probably one of the neighbourhood's best kept secrets.Pool, crib, darts and quiz teams, and entertainment consists of regular live music and karaoke nights.Well behaved dogs and children welcome.No food offering here, though you are very welcome to bring in your takeaway or sandwiches - we'll even provide the plates/napkins.We have limited off-road parking but there is plenty of easy on-street parking, and we are close to bus routes.
