Coney Beach Amusement Park
About
Coney Beach Pleasure Park, once a cherished seaside attraction in Porthcawl, Wales, opened its gates in 1918 and entertained generations for more than a century. With over 25 rides ranging from wooden roller coasters and water slides to family‑friendly carnival attractions, the park was a playground for locals and tourists alike. The park’s heyday stretched into the 1950s and 60s, drawing crowds for fireworks, circus acts and holiday markets. After a long operation period and several safety incidents that prompted stricter scrutiny, the park closed permanently on 5 October 2025 following its 107th anniversary.
