Gnoll Estate
About
Gnoll Estate, also known as Gnoll Country Park, is a sprawling 100‑acre landscape masterpiece in the Vale of Neath, Wales. Combining historic gardens, lakeside walkways, woodland trails and a variety of recreational facilities, the park offers something for every visitor. A small visitor centre – complete with a shop, toilets and a café – serves as the gateway to the park’s story, while remaining estate structures such as an 18th‑century ice house, tower and fishpond provide evocative relics of the past. The playground and adventure playground delight children, and larger crowds enjoy the four winding ponds, formal cascades and a grotto that add to the park’s serene ambience. Entry is free, though visitors need to pay for parking. The park remains open daily from 10:00 to 18:30 and is especially popular on sunny weekend days.
