Windrush Lodge is set in a peaceful Village in north Wiltshire. Cotswold Water Park, Cirencester Country park, riverside walks are a stone throw away from Windrush Lodge. Our accommodation offers a range of exceptional features, including a charming garden and terrace,. During your stay, make the most of our outdoor area, perfect for guests of all ages. Whether you're enjoying breakfast on the sun-kissed lawn, or relaxing in bed whilst serenaded by the local songbirds, you'll always find peace here. KITCHEN *- Fridge, *-Nespresso coffee maker *-Toaster *-Kettle *-Multi Cooker with Heston Blumenthal cookbook *-Air Fryer. *-Mugs, glasses, crockery and cutlery are provided in the usual way. LAYOUT *-open plan lounge *-kitchen *-double bedroom, *-Walking shower enSuite, *-Sofabed and cot for children, As well as a nice self contained double room you have access to an open plan lounge with basic kitchen area and outdoor pergola seating. *-catering can be provided, this would be subject to your requirement. Please see the list of options provided in your lodge. ( this is subject to availability of the host and enquiry 24 hours in advance) Outdoor Relaxation and Barbeque Facilities Enjoy the weather in the hammock and cuddle up with your kids. It’s a perfect spot to recharge your battery. You also have access to the grounds and in particular the Mediterranean style outdoor pergola seating area with seasonal hanging vines. The area outdoor can accommodate up to 8 seating with access to a barbeque and wood burning pizza oven. HOT TUB The Use of Wood burning Hot tub requires at least 24 hours notice and is chargeable. The guest would need to be coached in correct and safe use of the Hot-tub and wood burner. (please contact the Host regarding availability and cost) PIZZA OVEN AND BARBEQUE The Use of Wood burning Pizza Oven requires at least 24 hours notice. The guest would need to be coached in correct and safe use of the Pizza Oven for safety reasons. (please contact the Host regarding availability and cost) THE FOLLOWING CAN BE PROVIDED BY THE HOST ON REQUEST: (please enquire about the cost): -professionally made Pizza dough and toppings -Hardwood Logs for Pizza oven and Hot tub -Charcoal for barbeque -Selection of meals and snacks OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES Cotswolds Water Park, Country park, paths and riverside walks are a stone throw away from Windrush Lodge. For water sports, wetsuit and paddle boards could be organised. up to 4 bicycles can be made available. (All at very reasonable hire charge) Several Golf complexes within 10 miles Accessibility features Access to the lodge is up one single step and therefore suitable for guests with mobility issues. The Bathroom is a wet room with no trips or obstruction for those mobility issues. Please contact the host for further details or to discuss your requirements. The village has a church and a local self-independent pub which are both just a few minutes walk away. Historical estate, Lydiard Park with manor and tour can be half an hour by foot for an idyllic walk or just 7 minute drive away. Other attractions are listed below. Interaction with Guests We welcome engaging with the guests, however their privacy is of significant importance. The guests often wish to break away from home choirs and in the past have requested culinary support from us. Subject to the availability, the host can support the guests with catering support.
