Little England Retreats is located in a rural setting at the end of a quiet no-through road. We offer Bed and Breakfast in a variety of accommodations: Wooden Yurt, 2 Shepherd's Huts, Retro Caravan and the Cottage. This is the space if you want to rest, recuperate and recharge your batteries. It’s also a great place to use as a base if you want to explore the many and varied places of interest nearby. Whether your interests are history, walking, cycling, wildlife and especially birdwatching, this is the place to be. The nearby area is steeped in history, from the ancient Sweet-Track, to mystical Athelney (the fortress hiding place of King Alfred the Great) and through to the site of the Battle of Sedgemoor, believed to be the last battle fought on English soil. All within a stone’s throw of Little England. Close by are Glastonbury, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves. The Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum are a short drive away.
