Originally built in 1329, The Church House Inn is at the centre of the quaint hamlet of Holne just 4.5 miles from Ashburton and the A38, set on the south-eastern slopes of Dartmoor. After a long period of closure the pub was lovingly and sensitively restored and re-opened in May 2022 as a family-run freehouse. Our seasonal menu offers home cooked style food featuring a selection of favourite British pub dishes, various hand crafted pies and a selection of grilled steak, all freshly prepared using locally sourced produce. A mouthwatering Roast Dinner served 12pm-5pm every Sunday. The bar is well stocked with local and guest real ales, ciders and a selection of lagers. Excellent wine list and Voyager coffee, hot chocolate and homemade cakes all available. All welcome!
