TEA ROOM OPEN MARCH TO EARLY SEPTEMBER. NURSERY OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND EXCEPT FOR 2 WEEKS OVER CHRISTMAS. Quintessential English Tea Room, in part of a former Victorian vicarage and an adjunct to a well-known plant nursery. The Edward Hyams designed garden is open free of charge to the public and light lunches and afternoon tea can be taken in the garden. All our food is prepared freshly and all is home made with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. We have an alcohol licence and sell Heron Valley soft drinks and organic fruit juices, as well as Ashridge cider, made about a mile away. Coach parties can be accommodated with advance notice & there is no charge for entry to the garden or adjoining nursery. We're open 7/7, including Easter Sunday, from March to September. Opening hours 11am to 4.45Pm. The Nursery is open 7/7, 50 weeks a year, closing on the Friday before Christmas Eve for two weeks only.
