The All Weather Lifeboat Centre is our state of the art lifeboat building facility where we build the world-class Shannon lifeboat. Tours around the lifeboat factory are organised on Mondays at 11.00 am and Wednesdays at 2.30 pm and last 90 minutes. You will have a chance to see the entire process from moulding the super-structure to the entire fit out. We build four to six Shannons per year at the site and service over 100 lifeboats in our fleet. We're immensely proud of gaining the King's Award for Best Apprenticeship programme for marine engineering last year. Find out how we name our boats and how you can get your name on one! Please remember that you will be touring a busy, live factory environment which means that you must wear closed-toe, pratical shoes and the tour is unfortunately not available for the under 12s.
