The Rivers Arms
About
A stunning pub with alpine-style chalets in the Dorset Countryside. The Anglo-Saxon name 'Rivers' was first used by French settlers to identify individuals who 'lived by the river.' However, in modern times, the name has come to represent a different sentiment: go with the flow, immerse yourself in nature, slow down, and allow yourself to meander your way around life's obstacles, enjoying the company of those you meet along the way. Nestled in the gently rolling East Dorset hills, we take pride in using only the best of what our local area has to offer, from fantastically fresh seafood to locally raised beef and pork, to the farm across the road, the source of our daily fresh butter, cream, and milk. There is more to our peaceful idle than just tantalising the tastebuds and filling the belly; our landscape is true food for the soul.
